Disappointed

Used to be good. Since IOS 10 update notifications have been sketchy. Since update to app a couple of days ago, notifications have been nonexistent. HUM unit bought a few months ago gives vehicle location to within about 10 yards. Unit I just bought from Verizon this week gives locations within about a 1/4 mile radius. Ill give them a week or so to sort it out and then take them back. Without notifications and boundaries its pointless for your kids.

Its not what I was hoping for.

I should be able to GPS pinpoint my own vehicles without obtaining a police report for a stolen vehicle. Also, in the latest app update somebody goofed on the app icon ;)

Good app & service

Nice app with useful features. Enjoying the new update specially the VIN scanner which is kind of cool.

Excellent app. Easy setup and very easy to use. Works great for parking in NYC. New version is much better and faster update.

My mechanic app

Got the service this weekend. Cool app that tells me so much about my car. App works nice n setup was easy - VIN scanner worked fine. I like a few more features and hoping they are on the way. Tried parking timer yesterday and it was fun. Yet to try find my car feature. What I like is the simplicity and no bugs in app. Eagerly Waiting for next version n features.

The Jury Is Out to Lunch

Hum was a snap to install, and customer support was great. I just do not get the benefits of having it. Hum reports the status of your cars battery, alternator, and coolant health. You can use its bluetooth speaker to answer calls without removing your hands from the wheel. In an emergency, you can automatically receive roadside assistance (ambulance and/or police) via the press of a button. The equipment is somewhat clunky. Hum also includes towing, but this is where the claims become fuzzy. Does the $14.99 per month price tag cover the cost of the towing as does the AAA once a year payment for a club membership? Well, I have sixty days to make up my mind. Candidly, I think standard cars do most of the above for free (except for the emergency service).

Where are the features?

This seems like an empty app for such a big company like Verizon. Everything you can view on it you can see on your cars dash. The GPS feature to find your car in a lot is having you record the gps location then using your phone to track where you saved the pin. We beed tons more features, fuel meter, tire pressure, engine stats, air intake etc. Get us more features! Not worth $15

Where is my email?

Same as other review I keep requesting to setup the app by getting an email as written on app but no email maybe they need an app to tell them when they are broken and need fixed and Hum did some bug fixes STILL cant get email to signup

Never received email for login info

You should make sure your protocols for an app are set up when you release it. I have attempted to get the login info several times and have never received the promised email. I have checked my junk mail box and it has never been there. It simply has never been sent to me. Even if this is the best app ever it doesnt matter if consumers cant use it! Get you act together!

Ridiculous app!!!

Tried to set up an account twice, but never received an email from Verizon. Called Verizon and was informed there would be a $15 monthly charge to use this "free" app! I deleted the app!!!

Tried 3 times was told email was on the way they lied everything sounds good but no tech support so with that I will not by this product

Just signed up

First off for those complaining about having to pay a monthly subscription. Its for the device that this app goes with go to the website and order your equipment. This is not a stand alone app. That being said. Gave it 4 stars since I just ordered it and cant wait to see how it works once I get my stuff!

Fail

App recommended by Waze. Tried to sign up never received the account setup email. Same problem as everyone else. Sounds like a good idea but clearly still has some kinks.

No way to use it

The singular method of trying to get an email from it just seems to be too difficult for this team to accomplish. Never got the email. Tried five times. Waited several days. Still no email. Deleting app now.

Unable to sign up

Same as the previous reviews. I have requested to get the email to sign up numerous times and I have never received it.

Email?

Ive been pretty disappointed with this so far...Ive tried to sign up around 7 times now and still have not received an email. Whats the point of paying $15 a month for something you cant use?

WAITTING TO TRY OUT THE SERVICE

Placed the Hum order online and waitting on device to see how this thing works. Actually Im using ( automatic Service) wish you can get at Target , Bestbuy etc... . This service seems to be good but, not sure if, its Reliable cuz is using my phone internet and Bluetooth connection to get it work. While Verizon hum uses its own connection and doesnt need my mobile device at all . Ill check the iPhone app but it works with my online. Account. Ill come back with an updated once I have tried the full service.

Disappointed

Ive had hum for about a week. It has worked a total of 15m during this week. Ive talked with their customer service to try to resolve my issues and tech support. Their devices only recognize certain/base models of vehicles. Mine is a GT so the device/app automatically kicks me off saying "VIN mismatch". Ive called and verified everything matches but I cant even use the services due to this glitch. Whoever I talked to in tech support said they would call me back same day with an answer and its been 3 days. The app is easy to use and slow but the fact that the devices dont connect irritates me, especially since Im paying for this service.
