Hum: GPS Family Locator App Reviews

I purchased hum a while ago and got rid of it. Although it did connect my car to my phone it didnt do a few things I wanted it to do. First of all the unit is not its own phone. It has the capabilities to call 911 and contact support, but I want to use that over using my own phone during a drive and if I forget my phone for some reason I can still call someone. Second, it does not have live data capabilities. That is the first thing I wanted it for! I am a do it yourself kind of person and it did not give me live data about my car. I feel like it should be able to do all OBD capabilities. Speed, Voltage, Fuel Economy, RPMs, etc. Other than that it is a good system. But not worth me paying $50 and $10 a month when I can pay $99 once for all but calling 911 and support, and all the features I mentioned above.

Verizon Hum has the worst customer service. They dont ship within the time they promise. Cancelling this service is impossible. The Customer Service Rep cannot do it and you have to wait 2 business days to have someone from the "CSCE" team to call you. Incredible amounts of BS and they cancel after they charge you for a month. Its like trying to cancel AOL all over again. Its a scam and you should avoid them.
